Thanks To Steve...

You know, I didn't want to be getting on Steve Williams about keeping his blog going when he decided to wrap it up. Some folks will urge him to keep it going so they can get the same dose of good writing and terrific photos that I enjoyed as well, but when a guy decides to shut it down, well then, tip your hat and wish him the best.

I will miss Scooter in the Sticks a great deal. Steve was there when I started, and provided comments and friendship that I value today, and for that, I tip my beat up old hat and say...Thank you Steve, and...

Have fun,
Bill

Bill, don't sweat it. Blogs allow us to express ourselves in ways that we may not express ourselves in public and it's likely that he will keep blogging.

It has become an extension of him. I've tried to stop blogging a number of times but I just can't shut the fuck up. My best guess is that he will be back.

And if he doesn't come back? Well that will only mean that he got his life back. That he isn't on the computer so much and is out doing other things that he loves.

I can't knock that my friend. Blogs are just more monkey crap in the ruts of history of time and space behind us.

Happy trails Scooter in the Sticks.

Hello my friend, long time neh?
I can relate to Steve, I still haven't got back into blogging, heck, as you can tell, I haven't even been reading blogs...............sorry dude, your one of my bros, but for some reason when i quit blogging,
I have been riding quite a bit, also I train as much as I can with my Brazilian jujitsu, Crossfit, and most of all working on my Faith! I just don't have the time to blog.
I hope all is well with you and the family!!
I'll try to visit more often!
Yours in Christ,
Cody

I hope you are right. Steve's writings were insightful and thought provoking, and I'll miss the times when he and I communicated on a personal level.

Cody,
Wow brother, it's good to hear from you. Folks come and go in this little neighborhood, and often times when they leave, thats it...it's over. Good to see that you didn't drop off the map.

Keep training body and soul. Oh, and riding whenever you can!

Have fun,
Bill

Thanks for the kind words Bill. Time and circumstance may change things for me but for now I just sort of ran out of time and energy.

I do miss it though. Hard to ride without seeing all sorts of things to shoot pictures of. Like yesterday seeing the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey circus elephants walking past the scooter....

Steve,
Good to hear from you. I really hope you got a picture with the elephants and the Vespa. That doesn't happen every day.

Have fun,
Bill
